Front Desk Policies

  1. Entering the Building: Please tap your ID, even if someone else has already opened the door
  2. Guest List: You are allowed up to 5 guests (please provide the desk worker with your guest's Name and MIT ID). With the guest list, you are not required to go down and tap your guest in. However, they still will need to sign in with the security guard and front desk worker for contact tracing.
  3. Packages and Mail: 
    1. Mcc mailing address is 320 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA 02139
    2. Please make sure your legal name on the MIT systems and room number is on your package/mail (aka not your nickname)
    3. When packages are delivered to Mcc, you will receive an email from Mcc's front desk. Please wait until you receive that email to pick up your package
    4. IMPORTANT: PLEASE PICK UP YOUR PACKAGE WITHIN 24-48 HOURS YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL NOTIFICATION FROM FRONT DESK
  4. Please check your mailbox regularly
  5. Personal packages/items: Desk will only hold personal items for up to 24 hours. Items left at desk for more than 24 hours will be forfeited
